URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — A 60,000 piece puzzle is coming together across Champaign-Urbana.

Over the course of the last two months, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Library has invited members of the campus and local community to join together to complete the world's largest puzzle.

"What a Wonderful World," is a 60,000 piece puzzle that measures 29 feet across and 8 feet from top to bottom. Over 180 paintings from the Dowdle art studio showcase a map of the world.

To make the gargantuan task more manageable, the puzzle has been split up into 60 sections of 1,000 pieces each. A representative from the library said that 58 of the 60 puzzle sections have been distributed throughout the community.

Once the completed puzzle sections have been reunited, the library will hold a special celebration.
