CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Three people who were killed in a crash in Ludlow Township have been identified. 

According to the Champaign County Sheriff's Office deputies were on the scene of a fatal two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in the area of County Road 3500N and County Road 1600E.

Champaign County Sheriff Dustin Heuerman said a 62-year-old man, the driver of a pickup truck, and a 56-year-old woman from Paxton, the driver of a passenger car, were pronounced dead on the scene.

The coroner identified them as 62-year-old Scott A. Meuser of Paxton and 56-year-old Joyce R. Surratt of Ludlow. 

Deputies also said a passenger in Surratt's car, a 30-year-old woman from Ludlow, was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

That woman was identified by the coroner as Kelsey J. Greider. 

Autopsies for all of the victims have been scheduled for this week. 

The crash is currently under investigation by Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

The road was shut down for several hours for accident reconstruction.
