SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) – Four people charged with distributing meth with will go to trail in August.
A press release from the U.S. Department of Justice says 46-year-old Claudette Borders, 43-year-old Jesse Stoldorf, 39-year-old Randy Hammond and 60-year-old Raymond Toth will all be in court on Aug. 3. The first three suspects are from rural Pana, while Toth is from Cuba, Mo.
Borders and Stoldorf are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute meth, along with a charge for meth distribution. Investigators say they got the meth from Missouri and then sold it out of their home in Pana on May 3. Hammond and Toth faces charges of possession with intent to distribute meth on May 22, with Toth’s charge specifying the involvement of over 17 ounces of the drug. Investigators say he’s also charged with possessing a firearm.
All four suspects are in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
Bolders, Stoldorf and Hammons face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Toth faces up to 15 years in prison if he’s found guilty of both the meth charge and firearm charge.
A federal grand jury indicted the suspects on June 20.
