DECATUR, Ill. (WAND)- A beloved restaurant owner in Decatur has passed away.
According to a Facebook post, Doherty's Pub longtime manager, John Hawkins passed away surrounded by his loved ones on January 29th, 2025.
The post went on to state, "The world will never be the same but we are honored to carry on his legacy through Doherty’s, which he loved so much. We will miss him more than you will ever know."
Funeral and service arrangements have not been set at this time.
