(WAND) - You can get your pet blessed Thursday.
HSHS St. Mary's Hospital is hosting its annual Blessing of the Animals at 5:30.
The event is held in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
The service will take place at the St. Mary's Hospital Cancer Care Center Healing Garden, 1990 E. Lake Shore Drive, Decatur.
Father Nick Husain will perform the blessing during a brief ceremony.
There is no cost to attend.
