BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) - A Bloomington tree with a tie to President Abraham Lincoln was damaged over the weekend.
The Bloomington Fire Department was called to respond to a very large downed tree limb on Lincoln St. that took out a power line Saturday night.
The tree is one of the oldest in Bloomington.
The fire department posted Abraham Lincoln stood by that tree and spoke on one of his trips through the city.
No one was injured.
