DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – The 2025 Farm Progress Show is underway in Decatur, and Case IH is showcasing some of its newest, most powerful machines and technology.
Kurt Coffey, Vice President of Case IH North America, said the show is a special one for him.
"I've been coming to these shows my whole life. I grew up down in Coles County," he said. "So, I'm obviously excited to always come out here to the Farm Show and see a lot of locals and people we've worked with."
The company is unveiling a fully redesigned Farmall lineup, including the A, C, and M lines, along with what Coffey called a world-first debut: the 785 Steiger tractor, the most powerful Case IH Steiger ever made.
"More, bigger, badder," Coffey said.
Beyond new equipment, Case IH said it will focus on meeting farmers’ current needs. Coffey acknowledged challenges facing the farm economy, but says Case IH is working to help operations stay productive.
"We're providing larger, more efficient, more powerful solutions with integrated technologies that automate the process. But we're also looking at ways we can optimize your operation — with extended warranties and prepaid maintenance plans so the machines farmers already have can last longer," he explained.
Case IH will also feature several machines in live field demonstrations.
As one of the largest farm shows in the world, Farm Progress brings thousands of people to Decatur each year. For Coffey, that means a chance to reconnect with the ag community where he grew up.
"If you're a local and you've not been to Farm Progress, this is one of the biggest and best shows on a worldwide level," Coffey said.
