SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The Illinois State Fair is introducing a new way for visitors to take home a piece of the fair with them.
The fair will now have an official merchandise stand on the fairgrounds. It will be located on Illinois Avenue across from the Sky Glide, offering visitors the opportunity to shop for exclusive Illinois State Fair apparel and merchandise from that evening's Grandstand concert.
The stand will be open each day of the fair from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.Â
The first collection of merchandise will feature four adult T-shirts, one adult sweatshirt and two youth T-shirts, with prices ranging from $35 to $80.
The merchandise will celebrate some of the fair's most beloved traditions including the butter cow, horse racing and corn dogs.
