RANTOUL, Ill. (WAND) — One suspect is in custody following a robbery at a Rantoul credit union.
Troy D. Burke, 40, of Champaign was taken into custody on Thursday following a robbery at the Community Plus Credit Union around 1 p.m.
Bank employees were able to provide a description of the suspect and an officer used that description to identify Burke.
Rantoul PD said that Burke was taken into custody with a large amount of cash on hand. He's currently being held at the Champaign County Correctional Center on aggravated robbery.
