CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND)- Champaign police are searching for 35-year-old, Brittney Schurvinske, who was reported missing.
Police said Schurvinske was last seen July 24, 2024, near Illinois Terminal. WAND News spoke with Champaign police. They said she was not reported as missing to the department until Jan. 24, 2025. They said were not sure why she had not been previously reported missing by the family.
According to the Black & Missing Foundation, Schurvinske has not had contact with her daughters and has missed their birthdays and Christmas. They say this is extremely out of character for her; she would never miss a birthday or Christmas.
