SHERMAN, Ill. (WAND) — Specially trained interviewers have been speaking to daycare students in the investigation of a Sherman man charged with production of child pornography.
Nigel L. Tiller Jr., a former employee of All His Children Developmental Center, was arrested on one charge of production of child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography under 13 on April 20.
The Sherman Police Department began an investigation when a report came in regarding possible child abuse by an employee of the daycare.

The department clarified that all interviews of daycare students were completed by trained investigators and interviewers. "They are specially trained to interview children who have alleged abuse," Sherman Police Chief Craig Bangert stated in a release. "Their job is to conduct a neutral, fact-finding interview with the child."
The Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center, working with police and DCFS, provides these services.
Other partner agencies include Williamsville and Springfield police, the Illinois Office of the Attorney General, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
A task force officer affiliated with the Internet Crimes Against Children, and a US Homeland Security Investigator are assigned and conducting forensic examination of seized evidence.
