Country music superstar Lainey Wilson to perform at 2026 Illinois State Fair

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Hold your horses! Country music superstar Lainey Wilson is coming to perform at the Illinois State Fair next year. 

The Illinois State Fair took to Facebook to announce Wilson will take over the Illinois Lottery Grandstand Stage on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026. 

Wilson has been awarded Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. 

Her hits include, "Heart Like A Truck," "Wildflowers and Wild Horses," "Watermelon Moonshine," and more. 

Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m. exclusively at Ticketmaster.com.
