DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A fire was put out at the Fuyao glass plant in Decatur Sunday morning.
The Mt Zion Fire Department responded just after 5 a.m. The Sullivan Fire Protection District said every department in the area was called in for the fire.
According to the district, the fire was caused by a molten glass leak in the basement of the plant.
Firefighters were on scene until around 3 p.m. Nobody was injured.
