SPRINGFIELD - Crime Stoppers of Sangamon and Menard Counties officials are seeking the public's help in a 2008 cold case involving the disappearance of a Springfield woman.

Springfield police say the missing woman, identified as Michelle Bianco, was last seen and heard from on April 5, 2008.  Authorities say Bianco was at her cousin's home in the 2100 block of South Grand Avenue East, as is described as standing 5'7" tall, weighing 112 pounds, having blue eyes and blonde shoulder-length hair.

Bianco was reported missing by her boyfriend, who discovered her missing when he returned home from a trip on April 6, 2008.

Springfield police also say officers have received information that Michelle was seen getting into a black Pontiac with a sunroof, driven by a white male with a small build, black hair over his ears, and an unshaven face, on the same night of her disappearance.  Authorities say the driver allegedly offered Michelle a ride home, which she willingly accepted.

Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help due to the suspicious nature of her disappearance, and "the likelihood of foul play."  Officials say information leading to an arrest in this case will net the anonymous tipster $5,000 cash.

If you have any information on Bianco's disappearance, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (217) 788-8427.  We will provide more information as it becomes available.
