SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A Springfield man was arrested Wednesday after an ongoing narcotics investigation.Â
The Springfield Police Department stated that it arrested 34-year-old Tavious Spencer of Springfield Nov. 5 after a warrant was obtained for his home.Â
During a search of Spencer's home, Springfield police said that officers found the following:
- Around 55 grams of suspected ecstasy
- Around 64 grams of suspected cocaine
- Around 1,126 grams of suspected cannabis
- A revolver and a shotgun
Spencer was arrested for the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, possession of firearms without a FOID, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a gang member and resisting a peace officer.Â
Spencer was moved to the Sangamon County Jail.Â
