ATWOOD, Ill. (WAND) — The Atwood Police Department is teaming up with O'Reilly Auto Parts to help the community and make the holiday season a little brighter.
O'Reilly is providing the department with gift cards to give to drivers who are stopped for equipment violations, like a broken headlight or taillight.
The department said the goal is to turn something that could be negative into a positive, helping offset the cost of repairing a car.
