DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A Danville man was arrested Monday after a United States Postal Service worker was shot with a BB gun.
Danville police said the worker was shot while delivering the mail in the 200 block of Hazel Street on Feb. 17.
Following an investigation, DPD identified the suspect as 49-year-old Jay Ollis of Danville.Â
Police arrested Ollis along E. Harrison Street Feb. 23.
He was taken to the Vermilion County Jail and is charged with aggravated battery.Â
