EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WAND) - The Marshall Police Department is assisting Evansville Police with an investigation after a Marshall High School past graduate was found with explosives and a plan to set them off at her former school.
According to a joint statement from the Marshall Police Department and Marshall Community School District, on Friday, they were informed of an arrest made in Evansville, Indiana, of a past graduate of Marshall High School.
Evansville Police Department informed Marshall PD, and the School District that a former student had in her possession incendiary devices with a plan to deploy the devices at her former school.
The student remains in custody on the charge of possession of a destructive device.
Evansville PD along with the Marshall PD, St. Vincent Police Department and EPD Bomb Technicians continue the investigation.
