SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - City Water, Light and Power has released its newest water quality report.

In 2025, CWLP said its produced drinking water met all USEPA and State of Illinois drinking water health standards and no violations of a containment level or any other water quality standard occurred.
The information outlines the multiple levels of monitoring taken to evaluate the production of drinking water.
CWLP's Water Division operates a 24-hour lab where chemists and plant operators monitor water quality through the treatment process to make sure drinking water meets or exceeds all regulatory standards.
