DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A Danville man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to attacking an older person.Â
On September 12, Robert Blackwell pleaded guilty to Aggravated Battery - Person 60 or Over, a class 3 felony.Â
Brockwell was sentenced to 6 and a half years in prison followed by six months of probation.Â
On November 29, 2024, Danville police were called to a home on Grace St. for a report of domestic battery. The victim told officers he woke up to Brockwell yelling at "imaginary people," so the victim told him to be quiet.Â
Brockwell told the victim he would kill him and hit him with a chair.Â
