DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) – A man killed in a Saturday night shooting has been identified.
Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden says the victim was 29-year-old Tyrell Henderson. Police say they found him lying at the edge of the road in the 2300 block of Danville's Cannon Street. A report of shots fired came in at around 8 p.m.
Officers said there were several people seen in front of a house before someone fired gunshots.
A press release from McFadden’s office said investigators performed an autopsy on Henderson Sunday morning, but did not say what results came from it.
Danville police want anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 446-TIPS or the Danville Police Department.
