Decatur native, Super Bowl champ to speak at Lincoln Square Theater

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Lincoln Square Theater is bringing a Decatur native and Super Bowl champion back to his hometown.

Seattle Seahawks' running back Jacardia Wright, a St. Teresa grad, will come to the theater July 10.

Wright will discuss his journey from the Soy City to the biggest stage in football.

Lincoln Square Theater Board Vice President Mark Scranton said it's people like Wright who give young people in the community the chance to dream big.

"I think that can motivate a lot of kids [who] maybe are looking for somebody to help inspire them [who] realize that a dream is possible, and I think that's something that today's youth really needs, somebody that they can identify with and know that anything's possible. You just have to dream big," Scranton said.

Tickets go on sale March 25.
