Decatur, IL- The City of Decatur wants the communities input on closing a bridge that more than 81,000 cars use every month.
The South Shores Drive Bridge could be closed for up to 8 months.
The City of Decatur is looking for public input on the proposed replacement of that bridge. A meeting will be at South Shores Elementary School from 4 to 6 Wednesday night.
The bridge would be closed completely during construction and traffic would be re-routed.
