DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – The Decatur Fire Department advises residents to avoid open burning due to extremely dry conditions that could lead to rapid fire spread, threatening lives and property.
By not burning, residents can help protect the community and support firefighters.
The Department will keep monitoring the situation and provide updates as necessary.
