DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur police surrounded a home on Church Street late Tuesday night.Â
A WAND News photojournalist saw several police cars outside a home on North Church Street near West Division and North Main around 9 p.m.Â
Decatur police told WAND News Monday morning they had been called out for a barricaded subject. They said no more information was available at this time.Â
According to video posted on social media, neighbors can be heard describing that police were asking someone inside a home to come out with their hands out. Police were asking someone to surrender or police would go into the house, according to the video. Â
