FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) — Diamonds Family Restaurant owners Buki Limani and Ben Veliu announced that they will be opening a new breakfast and lunch spot in Forsyth called Diamonds & Yolk.

The restaurant will be located in the old seafood restaurant Crab Lobster, which closed in 2024. When the building was put on the market earlier this year, the pair jumped at the opportunity.

"We love this community, we love this area and we love Forsyth. So we always wanted to put a place in Forsyth." Limani said.

Diamonds & Yolk will boast new menu items, with brunch staples like eggs Benedict and stuffed pancakes. They will also add alcoholic drinks like mimosas, bloody marys and cocktails with infusions.

But the menu will not be the only thing getting an upgrade.

"We're going to try to bring the classic breakfast and lunch to a different level, putting new flavors and things and new dishes. And we're going to try to bring a great atmosphere to the location. Everybody's going to feel comfortable, and everybody's going to feel welcome, so we are really excited, and we can't wait to show all of that to the community that's been always supporting us." Veliu said.

They say if everything goes as planned, they hope to open in spring 2026.
