DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – The 72nd annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon drew a crowd of more than 700 people on Tuesday in Decatur.
Hosted by the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce, the luncheon keynote speech was made by former Congressman Rodney Davis of Taylorville.
In addition to giving thanks, the luncheon is an opportunity for the business community to network in a relaxing environment.
“You’ve got to ask yourself what kind of business deals are being made? What kind of relationships are being developed right here?” asked Chamber President Mirinda Rothrock. “I’m so proud that the chamber can bring folks together. You know that’s what we do. We can actually build relationships.”
The annual luncheon took place at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel.
