Decatur, IL - Police are on the look out for a man they say is behind a home invasion that ended with gunfire.
Decatur Police are searching for Phillip Garrett. He's the alleged shooter, and wanted on attempted First Degree Murder charges. It happened at a home near Jasper and Walnut Street in Decatur late Sunday night. Police believe Garrett and three other suspects broke into the home, stole items, and opened fire. A 26-year-old man was shot while trying to fight off the suspects.
Police say to consider Garrett armed and dangerous. If you see him, you're asked to call Decatur Police or CrimeStoppers at 423-TIPS.Â
