DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A local coach, father, and leader was inducted into the Inc. Spot's Hall of Fame this weekend.
On Saturday, DeAndre Harper was honored for his contributions to the Decatur community. He works as a teacher, coach, and athletic director at Robertson Charter School.

Harper's son, DeAndre Harper Jr., was also honored. It was an emotional moment as DeAndre Jr. passed away in 2023.
"I think the measure of us all — before we leave this place — is what effect we have on other folks' lives," said Harper.
