DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Del Carmen's is reopening a new location after a fire destroyed the restaurant in 2016.
On their website, the owner Valerie Potts said Del Carmen's Pizza East will open at their new location, 2855 N. Water St. in mid-November.
The new owner said she purchased the pizza recipe and will continue the business.
In a statement, the owner said, "I will strive to serve the same quality pizza made with the freshest ingredients baked in our new brick oven. I am excited about serving this community at our new location."
The restaurant is hiring through online applications or during open interviews from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Decatur Civic Center.
