DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Friday! Temperatures are starting mild today in the upper 40s and low 50s. A mix of sun and clouds will hang around through the morning, but the clouds will build in with rain chances for the afternoon. Expect rain chances to ramp up around noon. These showers will hang around for most of the afternoon and evening. This will keep temperatures from rising above the upper 60s.
Showers will start sliding southward through the evening, and dry conditions will arrive overnight. Skies should be clear as we start Saturday. There is a small chance of some fog early Saturday, but the mostly sunny skies should burn the fog off quickly. Temperatures will warm up quickly with highs in the upper 70s by the afternoon.
Rain chances return Saturday night as another cold front moves in from the north. This will allow rain chances to hang around for early Sunday morning. Temperatures will be cooler in the upper 60s for the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop into the low 40s on Sunday and Monday night.Â
Temperatures will bounce back next week with highs in the low to mid-70s. Have a great weekend!
