DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Seeds were planted by Richland Community College horticulture students in January. Now the fruits, and vegetables, of their labor are being made available to the public with a two day plant sale.

A steady stream of customers came through on Friday to check out a wide range of plants. The final day of the sale is Saturday, May 3, 2025, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
People are encouraged to arrive early as some plants may sell out.
Students took advantage this year of a new greenhouse on campus which provides better light and automation over an older campus greenhouse.
