TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — The Taylorville Police Department is investigating after a threat of violence was made to Taylorville High School Wednesday.
According to an email sent to parents by Superintendent Brandi Bruley, the student who made the threat has been identified by police and could face legal action.
The email said law enforcement assured the school that students and staff are safe.
This is an ongoing investigation. WAND is working to learn more.
