DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur Memorial Hospital named Tanya Andricks as its next president and CEO Tuesday.Â
Memorial Health Media Relations said in a press release that Andricks will begin her new role Oct. 13.Â
Andricks has been the CEO of Crossing Healthcare since 2013.Â
The release shared that Andricks began her medical career 30 years ago as a registered nurse in the DMH Emergency Department, and also received a bachelor's in nursing from Millikin University and a master's in health administration from Ohio University.Â
"It's exciting to return to DMH, where I began my career, as president and CEO. DMH plays a crucial role in the health and well-being of our community, and it’s an honor to help carry on that mission," Andricks said in a statement via the release.Â
