DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Multiple emergency service vehicles were present at the ADM West Plant on Thursday night.

According to the Decatur Fire Department the call came in around 9 p.m. for a report of some type of explosion, which DFD speculates it to be a dust explosion.

Decatur Fire confirms crews found small spot fires once inside.

Three individuals were reported injured. Their condition has not been disclosed at this time. 

According to an ADM spokesperson the incident occurred at one of the grain elevators at the West plant within ADM's processing complex in Decatur.  

ADM confirms that three individuals were transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital for treatment, and they are currently investigating the incident.
