DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Firefighters responded to a Decatur motel fire Friday night. 

The fire happened at Sandy's Motel, located at 1675 E. Pershing Road in Decatur. The call came in at around 6:30 p.m., crews told WAND-TV. 

The focus of the response appeared to be at the back of the building. After 7 p.m., crews said the fire was mostly out. 

One person suffered smoke inhalation in this fire. A cause remains unknown. 

The Illinois State Fire Marshal was called to the scene.Â
