CLINTON, Ill. (WAND) – Thousands of gallons of diesel fuel recently leaked at a trucking company’s facility.
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency representative Kim Biggs says about 4,000 gallons leaked on June 30 at H&M Trucking Co. The company operates out of Clinton.
Biggs says the EPA did not learn about the leak until July 21. The organization has moved the case to the Illinois Attorney General’s office, which will be responsible for enforcement.
The EPA says the attorney general would have to be reached for further details.
