CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Homeowners were able to escape a duplex fire in Champaign Thursday.
The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in the 3300 Block of Boulder Ridge Drive at 10:43 a.m.
Firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of a duplex. Crews were able to quickly extinguish an exterior fire that traveled into the attic.
Everyone inside got out of the house by the time firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
