NASCAR Daytona 500 Auto Racing

NASCAR's signature event is coming up this Sunday. This will be the 67th running of the Daytona 500.

Denny Hamlin leads active drivers with three Daytona 500 victories.

Due to weather, NASCAR moved up the race start by an hour, with pre-race festivities beginning at 12:30 CT.

NASCAR held a pair of 150-mile qualifying races Thursday night to set the remainder of the field. Riverton-native Justin Allgaier of JR Motorsports and Corey LaJoie raced their way into the 500. Allgaier drives for Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was emotional while talking about returning the 500 for the first time as a car owner.
