(WAND) - Conditions will turn icy across Central Illinois today.
Light freezing drizzle will develop this morning across our southern hometowns. It'll build into freezing rain as it moves northward this afternoon and early tonight.
Temperatures will be slow to climb above freezing today, especially north.
Ice accumulations will range from a glaze across the south to one-tenth of an inch across our northern hometowns.
The freezing rain will change over to all rain south by afternoon and across the north early tonight before ending late tonight.
A "Winter Weather Advisory" covers much of the area Wednesday.
Sunshine returns Thursday afternoon into Friday.
Another wintry mix is possible Friday night before changing over to rain Saturday.
