Illinois man accused of killing his ex-wife in Indiana

Whitley County, IN - A Central Illinois man is accused of killing his ex-wife in Indiana.

The same day Debra Houser went missing in November, Rodney Houser was arrested. According to court records, the couple was living together again for a month and half before Houser's disappearance. An investigator says there's evidence like bloody clothes and blood in a truck tying Houser to the homicide.

A body believed to be Debra Houser's was found Tuesday. The Whitley County Coroner says the cause of death is blunt force trauma.

Rodney Houser graduated from Cerro Gordo High School in 1984. He's lived in both Illinois and Indiana since then. He has a criminal record in Macon County. His family still lives in Central Illinois.
