DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Danville Friday has been identified. 

Danville police were called to Gilbert Street and North Street at 3:34 p.m. Officers found a 46-year-old Danville man, Micahel J. K. Wagle, with severe injuries after they said his motorcycle hit a vehicle. Wagle was taken to the hospital but did not survive. 

DPD and Illinois State Police investigators said Wagle was going south on Gilbert Street when he ran a red light at the intersection and hit the driver-side door of a vehicle as it was going east on North Street.
