1 dead, 3 injured after early morning crash in Decatur

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- A Decatur woman is dead after a crash early Saturday morning. 

Decatur Police said, the crash happened just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Main Street. 

Police said, a 26 year old woman was driving a Ford Focus and drove through the red light at hit a box truck that was heading south on Main Street. 

The driver and 3 other women in the car were taken to the hospital  the driver died, the passengers are expected to recover from their injuries. 

Decatur Police said, toxicology results on the driver of the Ford are pending.
