URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — One man is dead following a crash in Urbana over the weekend.
According to the University of Illinois Division of Public Safety, university police responded to the 2300 block of South Lincoln Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said officers found an SUV and a motorcycle with damage when they arrived.
According to the Champaign County Coroner, 39-year-old John Goeken of Savoy was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.
A second person was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An autopsy has been scheduled, and the death remains under investigation.
