ARCOLA, Ill. (WAND) - An Amtrak train collided with a truck in Arcola Tuesday.
According to a picture sent to WAND News, the train collided with a semi truck at the crossing on Springfield Road near Chestnut Street.
A person who answered the phone at the Arcola Mayor's Office said there were no injuries. An Amtrak spokesperson also confirmed that there were no injuries to riders or the train crew.

It's unknown if the truck was stopped on the tracks or if something else happened that caused the collision.
WAND News has a crew headed to Arcola. WAND News has also contacted Amtrak for information about the collision.
It's not clear how many people were on the train or if any portion of the train derailed.
