SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Congratulations with a splash, as dozens of nursing students at the Springfield campus of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing rang in graduation.
Students got the chance to "Dive In" to a decades-old tradition by jumping into a pool wearing their nursing scrubs.
Two graduates who took the dip said they will miss their fellow classmates and the experiences they faced together in school.
Their advice to other students: you don't have to go through everything alone, and connect with other students when you can.
