DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Decatur Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants around the community beginning next week.
Water services crews will flush hydrants around the city from May 25 to June 22.Â
Residents are encouraged to minimize their water usage until the flushing is complete.Â
The City stated that temporary water discoloration and a slight drop in water pressure will occur, and there are no health or safety concerns with the discolored water.
