Dunkin' in Decatur's Brettwood Village undergoing drive-thru renovations

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Dunkin' off Water Street in Decatur is redoing its drive-thru on the south side of the building.

The renovations will get rid of the drive-thru lane on the north side of the building, which has confused drivers who come in and out of the shopping plaza.

Currently, the drive-thru is closed, and only walk-in service is being accepted.

Connor Daundivier, a frequent customer, said these new changes will make things easier for him and other customers.

"I've probably seen like four or five people run into the curb right here on drive-thru," Daundivier said. "So, when it's going to be moved over here, it's going to be so much better. Sometimes I drive a truck through there and it's so hard to make that tight turn with the concrete being there, so I think the new drive-thru is going to be great."

The renovation project was handled through a private investment.
