FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) - The Village of Forsyth has taken yet another step towards bringing a Chick-fil-A to the area.
The Board of Trustees passed several votes Tuesday evening related to a new Chick-fil-A location that will take over the former Applebee's.
A village administrator told WAND News that all votes were passed unanimously.
All but one ordinance was passed unanimously at the Village's planning and zoning commission board meeting Jan. 15.
The village expects work to begin in the spring.
