DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — An apparent water main break flooded a Decatur intersection overnight Friday.Â
Several viewers sent in pictures and videos of a flooded intersection on North 22nd Street and East Locust Street Friday morning.Â
The City of Decatur Public Works Department confirmed that Decatur Water Crews are repairing the break.Â
The repairs have North 22nd Street and East Locust Street closed. The city said crews are working to open the southbound lanes and detour the northbound lanes. Drivers should use an alternate route. It's not clear how long repairs will take or how long the road will be closed.
One WAND viewer video showed one intersection flooded and starting to ice over.Â
This is a developing story.Â
